Construction of approximately 7.25 miles of new levee. Clearing and Grubbing of 1,340 Acres of existing vegetation. Installation of 8 new weirs and demolition of 2 existing culvert structures. The C-111, Contract 8 project features consist of the construction of levees, Articulated Concrete Block Mat (ACBM) weirs, degrading an existing levee, demolition of existing structures, and replacing with levee segments. Work also includes debris removal, aerial progress photography, sodding, and environmental monitoring.
