This project consists of the widening, milling, and resurfacing of the eastbound lanes along State Road 836/Dolphin Expressway from 1500 feet west of the NW 57th Avenue exit ramp area to the NW 42nd Avenue/LeJeune Road exit ramp, as well as the construction of an eastbound outside auxiliary lane for a total length of 1.70 miles. MCM's scope included the widening of the bridges over NW 57th Avenue, C-4 Canal, and NW 45th Avenue; the construction of retaining wall systems, and associated work including relocation/replacement of signs, lighting, underground utilities, drainage, and Intelligent Transportation System (“ITS”) infrastructure. Also included in MCM's scope was to upgrade the existing inside traffic railings and repair all three bridges within the project limits. The Project also included work at an existing retention area on the north side of SR 836 expanding the capacity for additional water quality pre-treatment.
