WEST HOMESTEAD ELEMENTARY K-8 CONVERSION

The project consisted of renovating 7 existing buildings, constructing 1 new 18,000 sf tilt-up panel building, and demolition an existing building. To achieve this scope, the project required to be phased.  The scope of work inside active buildings was required to be scheduled during off-school hours. All of this while constructing the new building. Phase-1- consisted of starting on the new building # 08, which consist of classrooms and laboratories and the new administration offices, renovating building 1, 2 & 6 (replacing/refurbishing existing HVAC system, electrical, flooring & paint and beginning on the site furnishings. Phase-2- consisted of completing the new building #08, working on building 10, 11 & continuing with site furnishings. Phase-3- consisted of completing the new building # 8, demolition the old building 8, and completing all the site furnishings.
