MCC is a program created specifically for quick turn-around projects. It is designed to give CSBE firms the opportunity to perform work at Miami-Dade County’s five airports. By way of a contractor mentorship program, CSBE’s are able to receive training in any area of construction management. Some of the contracts completed by MCM under this program include but are not limited to: 
  • Club America at Concourse J - construction of a high-end passenger lounge which included new wall coverings, signage, millwork and construction of stainless steel and glass dividers. 
  • 779Y DFIS Ticketing Re-Check Counters - MCM coordinated all interface with 4 CTX (baggage x-ray)machines, interface and tie-in with the extant Ramp-level BHS, and ALL related: conveyors, controls, motor control panels, electrical/switchgear equipment, security interface, testing, and commissioning.
  • Concourse D FIS Automatic Passport Reader Retrofit – A fast tracked, well coordinated, scope of work completed at night within 22 calendar days, taking place within an active CBP FIS Area, requiring direct coordination with CBP and Homeland Security along with MDAD Security and Terminal Operations. Provide temporary partitions, demolition of existing finishes, running of overhead and below electrical power and low voltage. Retrofit of all above ceiling MEPs and fire alarm. Installation of 42 Automatic Passport Readers.
  • Central NTD Marketplace - Construct 10 custom designed aluminum and stainless steel, custom finished, support spaces and kiosks for new concessions and public areas for seating in an area of Concourse D that will be known as Marketplace. Custom designed kiosks will be provided under this Contract for the concessionaire. This scope took place airside, in an active concourse, directly adjacent to CBP area in concourse D requiring direct coordination with CBP and Homeland Security, requiring critical coordination between all stakeholders, including MDAD Airside Operation for MOT, deliveries, movement of materials and manpower. MDAD Terminal Ops for project t access for all above. Coordination with end user designs during build out requiring fast track modification to MEP infrastructure.
