Safety First! The NW 36th Street Project Wins a Sunshine State Award
On April 16, the NW 36th Street Project was awarded a prestigious Sunshine State Safety Award—the highest award for construction safety in Florida.
Created in 2006 by the USF SafetyFlorida, the Sunshine State Safety Recognition Award commends Florida's employers and employees in all industries who proactively and routinely engage in job safety. USF SafetyFlorida is a confidential small business service of the University of South Florida, College of Public Health.
While more than 1000 construction sites are visited each year, approximately just 40 small businesses earn the honor annually. These firms implement sound safety initiatives to better protect employees on the job.
To date, this is MCM’s seventh Sunshine State Safety Award.
Congratulations to the entire NW 36 Street team and our subcontractors. Keep up the safe work!
