MCM Gives Away 1,000 Backpacks at Three Lauderdale Lakes Elementary Schools to Celebrate “100th Day of School”

Feb. 8th, 2017 - Three schools. One day. We here at MCM had a blast spending the 100th day of school back in the classroom. We were able to meet hundreds of hard working Broward County Public Schools students, teachers and administrators. 
 
Members of the community, including teachers and board members from Broward County Public Schools, Bishop Douglas, and the Lauderdale Lakes Mayor and Commissioner were on hand to help hand out backpacks to over 1,000 children.

Feb. 3rd, 2017 - Yesterday our Team at Homestead Police Station got the Certificate of Occupancy for this state of the art facility! On top of CO the building was also certified as a green globe facility, which ensures the project was built with sustainable practices and materials. Jan. 30th, 2017 - Today at the recently completed Miramar Readiness Center Facility, our very own veterans Elliot Press, Greg Jennings and Ramsis Bonet through whose selfless service and sacrifice we enjoy freedom and liberty were honored to receive “The Governor’s Veterans Service Award” from the hands of Florida Governor Rick Scott.

On Tuesday, January 17th, the Texas Team began two rehabilitation projects at Love Field Airport in Dallas. Headed up by the dynamic duo of Courtney Kelly and Alexandra Yauch, the Taxiway Bravo and Runway 18-36 Projects consist of demolition and replacement of concrete, drainage improvements, and lighting updates. Field supervision, led by Derek Dodson and Jacob Yanker, has gotten off to an accelerated start with the hauling of over 150 loads of demolished concrete in a single day – breaking the record for the most hauls per day.

Jan 23rd, 2017 - On Monday, we had a wonderful day with Miami Lighthouse for the Blind’s CEO Virginia A. Jacko, Miami Mayor Tomas P. Regalado and his lovely wife Ana, MCM President Jorge Munilla and our Senior Project Manager Randolph Delano, touring the construction site of the exciting new addition to the organization’s rehab and education facility that serves more than 15,000 visually impaired each year. The Mayor and his wife didn’t come empty-handed; they delivered toys and joy for all of the children.

Dec 15th, 2016 - Members of Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the City of Homestead Government were part of the Topping Off Ceremony for this long awaited building. As part of the event, the community had an opportunity to walk through the new building and listen to words of encouragement from Superintendent Alberto Carvalho and Homestead Mayor Jeff Porter.

Dec 14th, 2016 - Congratulations Leon Flagler Team on the completion of this succesful project! The LMC Flagler Parking Garage was a unique project because of the challenges faced to ensure overall safety, address logistical constraints while delivering an excellent project to the owner. Phased construction of Civil and Pre-cast activities allowed minimal impact to LMC’s Flagler Center Operations.
